WhatsApp down, thousands of users complained!
Social messaging whatsapp was not working for thousands of users on saturday (April 12, 2025). Many users complained of problems in sending messages and uploading status. According to Downdetector, at least 597 complaints were registered against whatsapp till 5:22 pm on Saturday. According to Downdetector, 85 percent of these complaints were related to sending messages. Not only this, 12 percent of the people faced problems in the app and 3 percent of the people faced problems during login.
Many users also complained about whatsapp being down on social media platform X. A user posted about this and asked whether whatsapp is down, because I am trying to put a status, but it is not getting uploaded. The user also shared a screenshot with it, in which it is clearly visible that status upload pending is written.
Another user posted on x and wrote, is this happening only with me or are you people also facing problem in putting status on WhatsApp. Another user wrote, is whatsapp down? I am facing problem in sending messages. Is this happening with you too?
Talking about the complaint of whatsapp being down, many people have also faced problem in logging in. However, no statement has come from Meta on the complaints of whatsapp being down. Some similar complaints have also been made by users about instagram and Facebook. It is worth noting that all these three social media platforms are owned by Meta.
