A couple tied the knot on-board a chartered flight from madurai, tamil Nadu. The entire families were on the same flight. airport director said, "A SpiceJet chartered flight was booked yesterday from Madurai. airport Authority Officials are unaware of the mid-air marriage ceremony." The second wave of COVID has hit hard on all of us and the government which is helpless has imposed lots of restrictions.


Initially, a night curfew was imposed. Then, as the situation has gone out of hand the government has imposed a complete lockdown for two weeks. The same situation happened in tamil Nadu. tamil Nadu is the number one state with more positive cases. Each day more than 35000 cases are being reported. A wedding has been called off due to the lockdown. 


But suddenly, a couple has booked tickets from madurai and the marriage took place inside the flight itself when it was on mid-air. The photos have gone viral on social media. One of the family members revealed that they spend Rs.50 Lakhs for this mid-air wedding. netizens are criticizing this wedding as they could have donated this amount for oxygen supply or Hospital beds and the couple would have got blessings from everyone.
