Cockroach in chicken Biryani; Shocked couple
A couple was shocked to find a cockroach in the biryani they ate at a restaurant called 5 Star Biryani Center in Arani. The general public accused them of continuously serving substandard biryani.
Murthy from Nethappakkam village and his wife Jhansi rani came to eat biryani at a restaurant called 5 Star Biryani Center which is operating near Manikundu in Arani Nagar, Tiruvannamalai district yesterday.
Since then they have ordered and eaten non-vegetarian dishes including chicken, mutton biryani, and fish. Then Murthy was shocked to find a dead cockroach in the biryani he had eaten.
Arani complained to the officials of the food safety department after paying the bill for the food ordered by Murthy as he did not give a proper answer to the manager of the store. But so far, the food safety department officials have not taken any action against the concerned restaurant.
When a class 12 student died last May after eating tandoori biryani in the same restaurant, the public alleged that the food safety officials have not taken any action against this restaurant which is serving substandard food. The people of the area have demanded that the government should take appropriate action against the restaurant which is continuously serving substandard food.
