Following this, Kandasamy is continuing the case in thiruvarur Consumer Complaints Court. In this case, 2 lakh rupees for lack of service, emotional distress, material loss, mental anguish, 1 lakh rupees as punitive damages for causing hardship to Kandaswamy and his family by not distributing the gas cylinder on time, and 10 thousand rupees for litigation expenses totaling 3 lakh 10 thousand rupees. In case of failure to pay this amount to the customer within 6 weeks, it has been mentioned in the judgment that it should be paid with 9 percent annual interest from the date of issuing the order.
