Zomato, an online food delivery company, has been delivering food only to customers within a distance of 10 km. Thus, customers can order food in chennai and eat that food from a restaurant in Bangalore. Online food delivery company zomato has launched an intercity food delivery system. Called 'Intercity Legends', zomato customers can now get food from any restaurant in any part of India. customers can now order rasagulla from kolkata and Biryani from hyderabad in Chennai. This project by zomato aims to provide unique food from any city in india to different parts of the country.Deepinder Goyal, Founder, and CEO of zomato said that using the InterCity service, customers can get a variety of food from every region of the country. He said that the service will initially be launched for select customers in Gurugram and South delhi and soon plans to expand it to other cities including chennai and Bengaluru. Currently, zomato is taking orders from customers within 7 to 10 km and delivering food. But now you can order food from state to state too.Food ordered to zomato will be airlifted under the Intercity Legends program. Food freshly prepared by the restaurant is stored in tamper-proof containers and delivered safely with refrigeration technology.
