Despite the fact that Amou Haji was not his genuine name, it was a local term for elders. Amou Haji used to sleep in a hole in the ground, but the locals eventually constructed him a mud home. Amou Haji would only consume rotten porcupines and smoke an animal excrement pipe because of the circumstances.
After giving him a shower out of concern that they would become ill as a result of him, 94-year-old Haji passed away. Many claim that his disability was brought on by emotional failures he had as a young man. Ironically, a film titled "The Strange Life of Amou Haji" was produced in 2013 on Haji.
