Actress hamsa nandini presented a heartbreaking but motivational narrative of her battle with breast cancer on Woman's Day. In 2020, just as the lockdown was being lifted and she was set to resume filming her movie, she received a grade 3 cancer diagnosis. The fact that her mother lost the battle with breast cancer 18 years ago may be highlighted here.

Immediately following surgery to remove the tumour, she tested positive for BRCA1 (Hereditary Breast Cancer). As a result, she had a 70% probability of developing another breast cancer throughout her lifetime. To reduce the danger, she had extensive preventative operations last year. She has been given the names "Warrior" and "Fighter" in recognition of her heroic battle against this terrifying illness.

Hamsa strives to provide individuals all over india with simple access to information regarding all facets of breast cancer management and treatment. "When undergoing chemotherapy, I made a commitment to live each day as if it were my last and to leave the world a better place than I found it. In keeping with it, I'm pleased to announce that I'm founding the yamini Cancer Foundation, which honours my late mother, who was also a breast cancer patient.
