Heavy rain in rajasthan halted the speed of trains! 

Railway traffic has been affected after heavy rains in Rajasthan. The speed of dozens of trains has been affected due to continuous torrential rains. rail traffic will be affected due to waterlogging between Kerala-Rohat, Marwar Khara-Marwar Bithari and Phalodi-Malar of jodhpur division. Chief Public Relations Officer of North Western Railway Captain Shashi kiran gave information about this matter. He said that train number 12461 Jodhpur-Sabarmati train service will remain cancelled on 7 August. train number 14822 Sabarmati-Jodhpur train service will remain cancelled on 8 August. train number 14821 Jodhpur-Sabarmati train service will remain cancelled on 7 August. train number 04841 Jodhpur-Bhildi train service will remain cancelled on 7 August. train number 04842 Bhildi-Jodhpur train service will remain cancelled on 7 August.

While train number 12462 Sabarmati-Jodhpur train service will operate from jodhpur instead of jaisalmer on 7 august and train number 15013 Jaisalmer-Kathgodam train service will operate from jodhpur instead of jaisalmer on 7 august and this train service will be partially cancelled between Jaisalmer-Jodhpur. In such a situation, lakhs of passengers going out of rajasthan will be affected.

Changed routes of these trains

train number 19055 Valsad-Jodhpur train service, the train service departing from Valsad on 6 august was operated via the changed route Mahesana-Patan-Bhildi-Samdadi-Luni.

train number 16508, Bengaluru-Jodhpur train service, the train service departing from Bengaluru on 5 august was operated via the changed route Mahesana-Patan-Bhildi-Samdadi-Luni.

train number 20476, Pune-Bikaner train service departing from pune on 6th august operated via the diverted route Mahesana-Patan-Bhildi-Samdadi-Luni.

train number 16533, Jodhpur-Bengaluru train service departing from jodhpur on 7th august will operate via the diverted route Luni-Samdadi-Bhildi-Patan- Mahesana.

DRM Pankaj Kumar Singh said that the railway administration is working on a war footing on the Kerala-Pali section. Efforts are underway with the help of the local district administration to drain out the water from the submerged railway tracks in the obstructed section so that the railways can operate trains on time.
