There was a tussle between jaya bachchan and rajya sabha Chairman jagdeep Dhankhar. jagdeep dhankhar had addressed her by the name Jaya amitabh bachchan twice this week. Today, on august 9, he also addressed jaya bachchan by the same name. After which she got angry and said- 'I am an artist. I understand body language and expressions. But your tone is not right. We are your colleagues but your tone is unacceptable.'


Why does Jaya get angry?

When jaya bachchan was addressed as Jaya amitabh bachchan for the first time, she said- 'This is something new that women should be known by their husband's name. They have no existence. They have no achievements in themselves.' jaya bachchan gets angry when women are called by their husband's name. She says that women have their own identity and they should be known by that.

jagdeep dhankhar had once again called jaya bachchan some time back by adding her husband's name. To this she had said- 'Sir, do you know the meaning of Amitabh?' Then the Chairman said, 'Hon'ble members, there is a process of change in the name which appears in the election certificate and which is submitted here. I myself took advantage of this process in 1989. We have told every member about the process of change'. To this Jaya had said- 'No Sir, I am very proud of both my name and my husband. I am also very proud of my husband's achievements. His name means an aura that cannot be erased. I am very happy'.
