However, a recent encounter on a flight showed that such gestures can sometimes be surprisingly pleasant. A woman, known as @EYEamLRBY on X, shared her experience of receiving a "not so creepy" note from a fellow passenger.

The stranger handed her a note with the instruction to “read it later,” assuring her that it was “not creepy.” When she finally opened it, she discovered a handwritten compliment about her hair along with a $100 bill. The note lacked any contact information or expectations for future interaction, which made the gesture feel less intrusive to her.
