A lady in china carried out a daring act of retaliation by forcing employees at a Louis Vuitton store to count 600,000 yuan (more than ₹ 70 lakh) in cash over two hours, only to leave empty-handed. The event was a reaction to the rude treatment she had experienced from the sales staff on a prior visit to the store when she felt ignored and dehumanized.

The event happened in Chongqing's StarLight Place shopping center, which the woman had first visited in june to go clothing shopping, according to the Straits Times. She said that the employees were impatient, showed her out-of-date merchandise, ignored her demands, and treated her dismissively.

The customer also said that when she requested water, service members ignored her. She shared her experience on the Chinese social networking site Xiaohongshu. She tried to complain to the luxury brand's "headquarters" after she left the store, but she never heard back.

The woman reportedly harbored resentment for two months before coming back to the store with a bag of cash and devising a revenge plan, according to South china Morning Post. Her companion and helper went shopping with her, and together they tried on clothing, declared their intention to buy, and gave the salespeople their money. The woman informed the staff that she had changed her mind and would not be completing the transaction after they had counted the cash for two hours.
