Iron rods of an under-construction railway bridge fell…
A major accident has occurred in Tandwa of Chatra district due to the falling of iron rods of an under-construction railway overbridge. In this accident, three workers got buried under the iron rods, out of which two workers have died while the condition of one remains critical. According to the information, half a dozen workers out of the workers engaged in the construction of the bridge got buried under the fallen iron rods due to the iron rods slipping from the bridge number 102 located in Bukru village of Erikon Company engaged in the construction of the under-construction Shivpur-Kathautiya railway line.
After the incident, an attempt was made to take out the workers buried under the iron rods with the help of other workers. Some of the workers were taken out, but one worker died on the spot due to being buried between the iron rods. While two seriously injured workers were hurriedly admitted to Simaria Referral Hospital for treatment.

One worker died during treatment in the hospital. The other worker has been referred to Hazaribagh in critical condition. The deceased workers in the incident were identified as Bechan Bhuiyan, resident of Bukru village and Sakendra Sahu, resident of Lembua village, while the injured worker was identified as Durgesh Bhuiyan, resident of Bukru village.
Family members created a ruckus at the spot
After the incident, on one hand the family members of the deceased are crying inconsolably. On the other hand, the villagers and family members of the deceased created a ruckus at the spot. In the incident, the workers working in the bridge construction told that the safety rod of the bridge's iron rod was cut by the company's engineer Saurabh. As soon as the rod was cut, the iron rod collapsed, which led to this entire accident.
