Work of removing debris at Baluganj crossing completed!!!


The work of removing debris from the road at Baluganj crossing in the capital shimla has been completed. Due to the landslide, thousands of tonnes of mountain soil came on the road. Due to the debris, the road was closed for vehicular movement. Now after about two weeks, the road is expected to open again. The employees of the Public Works Department have almost completed the work of removing debris from the road. In such a situation, the movement of vehicles is likely to start from Sunday.


DC shimla will inspect the spot once again

shimla Deputy Commissioner Anupam Kashyap will once again reach the spot this evening and inspect it. The road will be completely opened from Monday. The road goes from Baluganj to Summerhill. On going from Baluganj Chowk towards v turn, this road also meets the National Highway going to Mandi, Dharamshala and Hamirpur.

Public Works Department's debris removal work completed


It is worth noting that after the landslide, the soil of the mountain had come on the road. The Public Works Department has removed some part of the soil from the road and installed a security wall. However, the danger of stones falling from the mountain still remains. In such a situation, police personnel will also be deployed to avoid any untoward incident. The Public Works Department has also prepared a new part of the road. vehicles will move from the new road towards Old bus Stand to Baluganj. vehicles will run from the old road towards Baluganj to Old bus Stand.
