Now uproar over Palestinian flag in Karnataka…?
A video of Chikkamagaluru in karnataka is going viral on social media. In this video, a Palestinian flag is being waved on a two-wheeler. Immediately after this video, the police came into action. police detained six minors in this case on monday (September 16), information of which was given by police officials to news agency PTI.
Police said that the incident took place on sunday (September 15) on Danta Ramakki road in Chikkamagaluru town at around 1 pm. According to the police, the three boys detained were on a two-wheeler and the 17-year-old boy sitting at the back of them was allegedly holding and waving the Palestinian flag while his three other companions were following them on another motorcycle.
'Azad palestine slogans raised'
Police said that they were raising slogans of 'Azad' Palestine. A senior police officer said, 'We have caught all the six boys involved in the incident. All of them are minors. We have registered a case under relevant sections of the indian Justice Code, including disturbing communal harmony.'
Both vehicles were seized
Police officials informed, 'Both the vehicles along with the flags have been seized. During interrogation, the boys told that they had seen some videos of processions in Uttar Pradesh, in which people were carrying the Palestinian flag, so they also wanted to make a similar reel on Instagram.'
BJP leader made this big allegation
Earlier, former National General Secretary of bharatiya janata party (BJP) and Legislative Councilor CT ravi had alleged that a rally was taken out yesterday (Sunday) in which Palestinian flags were hoisted on more than 20 two-wheelers and one four-wheeler. It is expected that the political temperature on this issue will rise only after the viral video surfaced
