Landlord arrested on mother's statement
The victim's mother Bhagwati Devi told the police that Rakesh had left the house that day with his landlord's son Govind Ballabh. The officer said that there was also a mention of property and financial dispute between the two (tenant and Govind).
This is why the tenant was killed
After this, the police arrested the building's owner Govind. During interrogation, Govind confessed that he killed Rakesh due to financial dispute. The police said that Rakesh had taken five lakh rupees and a Mercedes car on loan from Govind, but could not pay the promised amount, due to which there was a dispute between the two and ultimately Govind killed Rakesh. Now the police is taking action against the accused in this case as per the rules.
