The Joint Committee of parliament will soon prepare its final report on the Waqf Amendment Bill. According to sources, this report will be presented before the parliament in the upcoming budget session. According to sources, the chairperson of the committee jagdambika pal has asked all the members to submit their suggestions and proposals for amendment in the bill by today evening i.e. wednesday (January 22, 2025). These proposals will be discussed in detail in the meetings to be held on january 24 and 25.

Final report after discussion on suggestions

All amendments and suggestions will be discussed during the meetings. The committee will decide which suggestions will be accepted. After the completion of this process, the final report on the Waqf Amendment Bill will be prepared.

The purpose of this report is to include the opinions and views of all the parties on the Waqf Amendment Bill.
