BJP's ally party RPI president and Union minister Ramdas Athawale made a big claim regarding the delhi assembly elections. On thursday (23 January), he said that bjp is number one in Delhi. aam aadmi party is number two and congress party is number three. Union minister Athawale said, "It is impossible for the congress party to win the delhi assembly elections. bjp has been in power in delhi for many years. congress has also been in power but it has been many years. Right now the support base of congress party in delhi is decreasing a lot.''

He further said, "People are very angry with rahul Gandhi's statements. When they (Congress) were in power, they did nothing for Delhi. They did nothing for the slum dwellers. Even aam aadmi party has not done any special work for the slum dwellers and poor people after coming to power. That is why people want the leadership of narendra modi today.

bjp can win 50 out of 70 seats- Ramdas Athawale

Ramdas Athawale also claimed that if crackers burst in delhi, they will be of BJP. Not a single cracker of congress party will burst. Some crackers of aam aadmi party can burst. He said, "I think that bjp can win 50 out of 70 seats and I am confident that bjp will become the Chief Minister."

When is the assembly election in Delhi?

Voting for the 70-member delhi assembly will be held on february 5 and counting of votes will be held on february 8. Three major parties - bjp, aam aadmi party and congress - are in the fray for the assembly elections to be held in the national capital. In view of the assembly elections, the leaders of the three parties are constantly engaged in verbal attacks and cornering each other.
