Daman Thakor of ahmedabad is the owner of 'Lal Pari'

Daman Thakor of ahmedabad is the owner of 'Lal Pari' who traveled to britain for more than 70 days with his family members. His wife, father and daughter accompanied him on this tour and were welcomed by the people of Abingdon, Oxfordshire. This place was home to Morris Garages for many decades and this more than 100-year-old company built the 'Lal Pari' and even after 75 years, 'Lal Pari' is winning the hearts of people and attracting them. Proof of this is that it received the '21 Gun Salute' award at the 11th edition of the Concours d'Elegance.

'We grew up with it'

Thakor, 49, who lives in ahmedabad, recalled his prized car and its amazing journey around the world two years ago, saying, "This is the 'Lal Pari'. My father bought this car for me when I was three years old. And since then we have grown up with it. We go everywhere in it and it was even part of my wedding celebrations (in 2000). My wife's farewell from her maternal home was in this car." Thakor said that about 10 years ago the family thought of giving this MG car a new life.
