Gave lakhs of rupees to Tantrik to remove black magic!

A shocking case of cyber fraud has come to light in Santacruz area of Mumbai, where an unknown cyber fraudster duped a woman of Rs 3.5 lakh. The fraudster allegedly convinced the girl that her boyfriend was under the influence of black magic and assured her that he could remove the black magic through a special puja method. Believing the claims of the fraudster, the girl transferred money online and fell prey to fraud. Vakola police have registered a case under sections of cyber fraud and IT Act and started investigation to trace the accused.

According to preliminary information, the 32-year-old complainant lives with her family in Santacruz. In october last year, she met a boy named rishikesh, a native of Uttar Pradesh, who is currently living in Thane. Their friendship soon turned into a relationship but the girl started suspecting that rishikesh was also in a relationship with another woman. rishikesh did not answer the woman's phone and did not respond to her.

The woman got trapped in the clutches of such a tantrik

During this time, she found an online advertisement on social media, which claimed to help people facing relationship problems. Out of curiosity, she contacted the number given in the advertisement. The fraudster, who introduced himself as a tantrik, listened to her concerns and convinced her that another woman had done black magic on rishikesh, due to which there were problems in their relationship.

Suspicion increased when there was no change in boyfriend's behavior

The woman was convinced by the fraud that he could remove the black magic using tantric knowledge and asked the woman to make some payment for this. The woman initially gave him some money and then sent about Rs 3.5 lakh to the fake tantrik through different transactions. The woman sent money through a total of 53 transactions but noticed that even after giving so much money, there was no change in Rishikesh's behavior.
