Ghibli AI trend threatens privacy! Engineer's warning…
For the last few days, there has been a flood of Ghibli style photos on social media. This trend has gone viral very fast. people are changing their photos to Ghibli and sharing them on social media. Actually, OpenAI's platform ChatGPT added this feature some time ago. Since then people are using it a lot. But now an engineer has issued a warning about this trend.
Digital privacy experts and cyber security experts have expressed concern over this. They believe that OpenAI can use this trend to collect millions of private photos and prepare its AI model in a better way. In such a situation, many users are unknowingly handing over their fresh biometric data to the company, which can raise serious privacy issues.
AI engineer's warning
For information, let us tell you that AI engineer Thakur Harsh Singh, while explaining the process of AI image generation, said, "You can upload your photos but it is very important to keep personal photos safe! Using famous AI tools like Google, GPT and Grok can be safe to some extent but it is not right to trust it completely." He further said, "Avoid some AI image generators that are not very famous, especially tools made by Chinese companies, because you do not know how they will use your data. This information is just to increase awareness so that you avoid sharing your personal information with AI models in future."
Currently, no AI model can make an exact copy of your photo but it may be possible in the future. Given the speed at which AI is developing, it is important that anyone thinks twice before uploading personal photos to any AI tool. Harsh Singh also said that now thousands of pictures are not required to train AI. With the help of recent developments such as DreamBooth and Stable Diffusion, AI models can be tuned through just 10-12 pictures.
