

Encounter continues in Udhampur, Jammu and Kashmir!
An encounter started in Udhampur district of kashmir - SRINAGAR/JAMMU' target='_blank' title='jammu and kashmir-Latest Updates, Photos, Videos are a click away, CLICK NOW'>jammu and kashmir on wednesday (April 9) after security forces received information about about three terrorists hiding there. Udhampur police said, during the search operation of police and other security forces, contact was established with the terrorists in Jofar village of Ramnagar police station area of Udhampur, after which the encounter is going on.
Udhampur-Reasi Range DIG Rais Mohammad Bhat said, at least two to three terrorists are trapped. He said, "Firing is going on. An encounter is going on between security forces and suspected terrorists in Marta village of Ramnagar in Udhampur district. Contact was established with the terrorists during the search operation of kashmir - SRINAGAR/JAMMU' target='_blank' title='jammu and kashmir-Latest Updates, Photos, Videos are a click away, CLICK NOW'>jammu and kashmir police and other forces. 2-3 terrorists are trapped. Firing is going on."
Three terrorists trapped in an encounter with police last week too
The operation started on march 24 in Sanyal area of Kathua district. Since then, three encounters have taken place and for the last 17 days, police and security forces have been keeping an eye on the movement of terrorists from one area to another. At least two terrorists and four policemen were killed in an encounter in the area on march 27. Last week, three Jaish terrorists were trapped during an encounter with the police at the Panjtirthi temple in Kathua Billawar area.
3 terrorists were killed in late March
The Rising Star Corps of the indian army, along with the kashmir - SRINAGAR/JAMMU' target='_blank' title='jammu and kashmir-Latest Updates, Photos, Videos are a click away, CLICK NOW'>jammu and kashmir police and the Central Reserve police Force (CRPF), launched a search operation in the area on april 1 after receiving intelligence about possible 'terrorist' activity. Earlier, in late march, three terrorists and four policemen were killed in a day-long encounter in a remote forest area of Kathua district. Officials said that seven other policemen, including a Deputy Superintendent of police, were injured in the encounter led by the Special Operations Group (SOG) of the kashmir - SRINAGAR/JAMMU' target='_blank' title='jammu and kashmir-Latest Updates, Photos, Videos are a click away, CLICK NOW'>jammu and kashmir police, assisted by the army and the Central Reserve police Force (CRPF).
