TMC mp Shatrughan Sinha has reacted to the statement of bjp leader and actor mithun Chakraborty. While talking to the media in patna on Saturday, he said that mithun chakraborty is my friend, I know him as a good artist and a good friend but he is not a political person; he has been brought into politics. He has not been an MLA, councilor, MP. He once became a member of the Rajya Sabha, that too because of West bengal cm mamata banerjee, some scandal happened to him in the Rajya Sabha, for which he had to leave or go.
The TMC mp further said that mithun chakraborty is saying something under the pressure of bjp or he is being forced to say it, I will not say much about that, I will never say anything about Mithun.
What did mithun chakraborty say?
In fact, bjp leader mithun chakraborty broke his silence on the ongoing violence in West bengal on Saturday. He said that in view of the deadly violence in Murshidabad, President's rule should be imposed in West Bengal. army should be deployed in West bengal for at least two months during the elections. He said that I have requested the home minister many times and I am still requesting that army should be deployed in bengal for at least two months during the elections so that fair elections can be held.
Actor mithun chakraborty also criticized the bengal Police. He said that when there is any riot or disturbance here, they just sit with a chair and watch as if it is a demonstration, and when it is over, they pack their chairs and go home. Their only job is to ignore everything. Taking a jibe at mamata banerjee, he said that if that madam really wanted, everything could have been stopped in a day. The Waqf Amendment Act was just an excuse, the real agenda was something else.
