A dumper hit a bike rider just 20–30 meters away from Mumbai's Bandra police station in Maharashtra. The dumper driver lost control of the vehicle to such an extent that the front wheel of the dumper went straight over the bike rider. The bike rider, who has been identified as Dinesh Jain, died in this tragic accident.

According to the information, Dinesh was a resident of Santacruz and used to run a junk shop near Jama Masjid in Bandra West. His shop is just a few meters away from the spot. He was going towards the shop at the time of the accident.

Construction material became the reason for the accident

Family members say that construction work was going on in the middle of the road near the police station and pebbles were scattered there. Due to this, Dinesh's bike went out of control, after which the dumper coming from behind hit him. The people nearby immediately rushed the injured Dinesh to Bhabha Hospital, but the doctors declared him dead.

After the incident, based on the statement of the deceased's family, an FIR was filed against the dumper driver at Bandra police station and he was arrested.

CCTV camera revealed

The accused driver has been identified as siddharth Kamble (age 26 years) and is a resident of Dahisar. The incident was also captured in CCTV cameras installed in nearby shops, which shows how the entire incident took place. The police have seized the dumper and further investigation is being done.
