The death of Sindhuthai Sabkal of maharashtra hailed as the mother of thousands of helpless children.

Sindhuthai Sabkal, a social worker from maharashtra who was affectionately known as the mother of helpless children, died of a heart attack.

Her death has caused grief in the archives of various orphaned children in Maharashtra.

Sindhuthai Sabkal is remembered for her countless services to orphans.

Someone who worked hard for children that were so helpless and did various services.

Who started separate archives and resuscitated several thousand helpless children.

Sindhuthai, 74, was admitted to Galaxy Care Hospital in pune due to a heart attack. There she died without the effect of treatment.

Only last year, she was awarded the padma shri by the Central Government.

Sindhuthai was born and raised in a very poor family. From her childhood to her youth he saw only poverty, poverty, destitution.

As it soaked into her mind, she decided to work for the welfare of children growing up in poverty and without anyone like herself, when he grew up.

For this, she started a children's nursery. It then multiplied. Today she is the mother of thousands of children.

Her native story is very sad. Sindhudai studied only till the 4th standard. She was married to a 32-year-old man when she was 12 years old.

The reason is poverty. Sindhuthai had 3 children. While the 3rd child was still in the womb, her husband left Sindhuthai. Sindhuthai endured that grief and gave birth to her child.

Sindhuthai, who was abandoned by her husband with 3 children, was not helped by her parents and the village.

Abandoned by all, he took to the streets begging and taking care of her children. All this strengthened the morale within him.

It also caused sympathy for helpless children. It was that zeal that made her the loving mother of thousands of children.

She has raised 1050 orphaned children in her lifetime. It is a matter of pride that through them she has 207 nephews and 36 nieces.

Apart from the padma shri award, sindhu has won over 750 awards and honors. Sindhuthai used to give away her prize and prize money to the builders of orphanages.

Through her efforts and hard work, a well-equipped orphanage with all facilities has been set up in the Manjiri area of Pune.

Maharashtra Chief minister Uttam thackeray has expressed condolences over Sindhuthai's death and announced that his funeral will be held with state honors.
