After the world's wealthiest man announced his electric automotive manufacturing corporation was "still dealing through a lot of obstacles with the administration" to launch a production plant in india, numerous legislators have urged tesla CEO Elon Musk to open stores in their individual states. Many states have requested him to participate, from vijay deverakonda to TN minister Rajaa.

Ministers from Telangana, Maharashtra, TN, Punjab, and many others requested Elon Musk to create a local production facility to assist tesla in overcoming these "challenges." However, these legislators appear to have misunderstood Elon Musk's remark, as tesla does not intend to develop local operations in india, at least, certainly not for the time being.

To keep things in context, tesla has already been requested to set up some local production operations in india by the government of India. tesla will only be eligible for welfare under the manufacturing incentive (PLI) program if it manufactures domestically, according to high-ranking officials. As a result, Tesla's "obstacles with the authorities" do not appear to include local production. tesla, on the other hand, is hesitant to commit to building a local manufacturing factory in india, owing to the high cost of its cars and current trends in the world's fourth-largest automotive market.
