Indian boxer Nitu Ghanghas has won the country's first medal in boxing at the Commonwealth Games 2022. Nitu won the gold medal in the women's minimumweight (45-48kg) category by defeating ResztanDemie Jade england 5-0. 21-year-old Nitu has participated in the Commonwealth Games for the first time and has enhanced the pride of the country by winning the gold medal.
