International Women's Day: 29 women with 'Nari Shakti' award!!
On the occasion of international Women's Day, President ram nath kovind has honored 29 outstanding women with Nari shakti Puraskar for 2020 and 2021. These women include farmers, sportspersons, disabled people to technocrats. women have been honored for their remarkable achievements in different fields. A total of 29 women have been honored for the years 2020 and 2021.
1. Tiffany Brar: The direction of education given to the lives of the blind
Kerala's Tiffany Brar herself is visually impaired but she has given new light to the lives of differently-abled people like her. She has started Jyotirgamaya Foundation and a mobile blind school in Kerala. She has trained more than 200 blind people in braille, computer, and other skills.
2. Ushaben Dineshbhai Vasava: Made a mark in organic farming
Ushaben Dineshbhai Vasava has been given this honor for her remarkable contribution to the field of organic farming. As a tribal activist, she trains women farmers in fertilizer use, technology-based farming.
3. sandhya Dhar: Engaged in improving the lives of Divyang
Sandhya Dhar founded the Jammu Institute of General education and Rehabilitation. Through her organization, she works to provide education and training to children with disabilities and poor sections.
4. Nivruti Rai: Big name in the tech world
Nari shakti Samman has also been given to Intel's Country Head (India) Nivruti Rai. Rai made a semiconductor chip, which has greatly reduced battery consumption. Also, through rural connectivity, it has worked to provide high-speed broadband connection facilities for less money.
