Member of parliament Raghurama krishnam raju has approached the supreme court seeking the transfer of chief minister YS Jagan's cases out of the telugu states. Jagan, in response, has filed a petition for the cancellation of bail. During the recent hearings in the supreme court, the bench raised concerns over the delay in the trials related to Jagan's cases.

Solicitor General Tushar Mehta, representing the CBI, clarified that they are not responsible for the delays in the investigation and have no control over adjournments in the lower court. Jagan's lawyers referred to the telangana High Court's order, issued as per the supreme Court's directive to expedite cases against public representatives. They requested the conclusion of the investigation based on this order, pointing out that the high court had set a three-month deadline. The supreme court expressed impatience with the prolonged duration of the investigation, questioning why it was taking so long.

The court made it clear that it would not prematurely end the investigation on these petitions. Responding to petitioner Raghurama Krishnam Raju, Jagan's lawyer, Niranjan Reddy, argued that the petition was politically motivated. YSRCP's lawyer mentioned that Raghurama krishnam raju had been acting against the party's activities for three years after facing action for filing a disqualification petition. The supreme court noted the telangana High Court's instructions to complete the investigation by April, suggesting that the matter would be reviewed in the next hearing.
