In addition to the many minor conflicts and the ongoing tensions between india and pakistan, two major wars are going on in the world right now: the Israel-Iran conflict and the Russia-Ukraine war. Both of these wars have the potential to escalate into a larger conflict that could lead to World war 3, which would engulf the entire world in a devastating conflict.

But when a world war starts and the bombs start dropping, will there still be any safe havens?  These ten nations will be the safest in the event of World war 3, according to the recently published 'Global Peace Index' 2025 assessment.

According to the survey, the safest nations in the world are those with the least amount of corruption, abundant resources, and an efficient administrative system. Ireland, New Zealand, Austria, and switzerland are the next safest countries in the world, after Iceland, which has been at the top of the Global Peace Index list since 2008.

Here are the 10 safest countries in the world, as per the Global Peace Index 2025:

Iceland (Europe)
Ireland (Europe)
New Zealand (Oceania)
Austria (Europe)

Singapore (Asia)
